I'll echo Drewski with one of the shortest build threads ever. Here's what a roll of red electrical tape and a colour printer can do, bring this rat back to a semblance of a stock bike; Have other issues to sort. Got a new battery as the one in it was a dried out chunk of lead, new petcock seals coming from kawasaki and a smattering of imperial fasteners used instead of metric. Not going to put any money into it until I get it running. Fun arts and crafts project so far though.

(looks really good from 20 feet) Or is it really that nice Givr? In any case, it looks like you should make a few bucks there brother.

Its gives away blemishes when youre up close, still, Worth every penny. I'll tell you what I paid during the pork feast, but I'll say this much now; Browney would be proud of my negotiating skills. Some nice features are the Corbin seat, new metzlers, fresh k&n air filter and a vance and hines pipe which is in decent shape. Its missing a strap latch. 59k on the clock.

The new ones blow this one away in terms of technology and weight. There is no "R" in the model name though. Its officially a zx1000-b2

However, anything with "Ninja" in the name might be an issue. They have a list and they don't make exceptions. Insurance companies aren't known for their reason or logic. I actually love these ZX-10's too! I've looked at several and came close to landing one. There's a guy in Japan that road races one. It's pretty sweet. Congrats on the score! Lookin' Good Anthony. Unless things have changed with the insurance companys 1000cc rating there is a peak in the premiums. Used to be rule of thumb under 1000cc the rates were a lot better. My 900's are around $800 a year for basic insurance with 2 million liabilty. See you on the 28th bud. browney out

I pay about $900 for the 1200bandit, I haven't inquired about a litre bike in my area, my guess would be $1000-1200

I pay about $900 for the 1200bandit, I haven't inquired about a litre bike in my area, my guess would be $1000-1200 so a 1.2 litre bike is 900, why would a litre bike be more?, is it because of classification, crotch rocket, as apposed to a sport/tour bike. Personally I don`t see the difference, when I was insuring my Duc 749 it was around 650, and considered one of the quickest road bikes of it`s time. Insurance in Canada is f`d they can pretty much charge what ever they want, its all about maximum intake and little or no out put, crocks by any other work period. Just keep in mind, all we`re doing is paying share holders wages.
