I believe Andre at Diablo does reproduction rims parts and lacing service. Be careful with Buchanan's, I don't have personal experience but a couple of board members have found that their rim drilling isn't quite setup correctly. As memory serves, the fix was to yield the ball end of the spoke so it was seated properly, if not, the spokes were "bent or arched"

Thanks Daffy, Its not the trueing and lacing im concerned about its more calculating the correct spoke to run an 18" on the front. Anyone done this themselves?

I'm not sure of anyone around here, but I see lots of adds in Clasic Motorcycle Mechanics, a British mag, that advertise custom wire wheel building services. Not sure if that helps you or not, but just a thought. Perhaps a quick e-mail might answer some questions. If you wan't I can look up these adds for you and give you some address if you want?

As Andrew mentioned Andre could probably do the conversion if you want both 18" rims, though I`m not sure if he uses alum rims. The best affordable are either Excel or Sun, example 18x185`s are @200$ plus shipping, tax, brokerage, ect.

I'm going back to them on the h1/750 this year. Buchanan's were great... no issues except for possibly the high cost.

I can also see a little bearing slip on the crank end bearings....I think some high temp bearing retainer loctite should solve that one? Here we go again!! Done correctly this is a must, done incorrectly and catastrophe awaits... see previous threads . I would uuuhhh what are you taking about ? nudg nudg ,,,no what I mean
