Alex? You have to be kidding me, she sits in her comfy chair in the corner of the garage pointing out the flaws in my quest for perfection. So that's why your bikes look so immaculate!

You have to love other peoples repair efforts.. In primer now, may be shooting the colour in the next couple of days. Front end is going back together. Lots more lipstick needed for this Pig. SoupD.

To be a fly on the wall when Soup uncovered that wiring! Did you get a salty taste in your mouth bud? Lol I wanted to "Assalt" the P.O. for that nightmare, but had to laugh, chunks of solder came off on the electrical tape. Methinks the 25 watt iron he likely used may have been a little under powered for the wire gauge.. SoupD.

Yay paint! BIG thanks to Roland for supplying me with the materials & a ton of advice. Base & clear today, decals in a few days then final clear coats. Its a much darker blue than the pictures would suggest, Ford blue flame metallic, looks pretty close to the original blue of the 1979/80 CB900 sold in the UK. Here is the compressor lash up, luckily I had most of the bits I needed. All sprayed in the Redneck booth, perfect spray booth weather today. Paint looked like orange peel when 1st sprayed, but flowed out nice & smooth.. SoupD.

Been a while since I did any updates on this NTR thread... Major thanks to Donnie for waking me from my slumbers & offering to stop by this morning to help me stuff the motor back into this pig. My motorcycle jack decided to quit so we had to resort to some good old redneck tactics to muscle the motor in by hand, barely scratched any paint off too, bonus!!! Spent the rest of the day trying to figure out where the various shims, spacers, bushings & bolts go, but I got there in the end. It will have a little Kawasaki in it, I'm planning to modify & install a S series grab rail SoupD.
