I like the KZ 750 twins with the chain drive better than the 4 cylinders. I did an LTD 750 and an LTD 1000 for a customer. I think my v twin would spank both

There is something intrinsically wrong when 50 parts are added to a motor to remove half the power strokes. Freakin lumps, 4 strokes........

The KZ750 Twins are huge lumps. No performance there whatsoever. A KZ1000 is still one of the best performance engines of the 70's and early 80's. Check the history books.

Actually, "Lump" I think is being polite. "Boat Anchor" is probably a bit more accurate. They were also anchored to the sales floor when they were new ( 77 - 83 ?). Later versions were belt drive. At any of the Kawasaki dealers I worked at we never sold one, and can count on one hand the number I have actually seen in person. They weighed about the same as the 4 cylinder engine and made half the power. That's a Boat Anchor.
There was also the Vulcan 750 V Twin from about 85 - 93 or so. It actually made really good power for that type of motor, way more than the air cooled twin could ever dream of, before cruisers became poser bikes. Lots of top end problems with the hydraulic valve set up though.

OMFG, that bike has a "proud" owner obviously unaware that everyone is laughing at him. SoupD. My Eyes! My Eyes!
Although full marks for engineering.

This made Donnie laugh. More progress Redneck paint booth, fume extraction system works great though. Primed. Painted. Just the clear coat to go then start re-assembly. SoupD.

I left just as Alex was tying Marks wrists to the contraption, that seemed strange...... I just found another bike for Mark, I was going to buy it but I am in the market for a new snowmobile for my daughter. She has outgrown her 250. We're gonna keep the 250 for Walms daughters as well as Marks daughter to rip around on.
