Very nice! Those lower mounts make mine look like crap... do you have an idea of how much power that motor should put out? Or is that a secret? No clue on the power... It will be the first time that John's porting and reeds meet Don's pipes.... I'm hopeing for ... No clue on the details though, all I know is it's John's stage 2 reeds and ported to suit max 9500rpm and recontoured combustion chambers with the squish properly set.

Are you going to dyno it? Of course you are. Put me down for 55.2 kiloWatts peak power (or 74 HP for you traditional power unit minded folk) ;D . I'll put $10 in the pot. Closest one (high or low) wins the pot. Any takers?

I'd like to put it on the dyno if the opportunity comes up... I have a friend that is making a dyno for his Aprilia project, I told him he'll see allot more of me when he gets it running ;D ;D ;D I'd also like to take it down the track this summer... Hopefully I can hook up with Uncle Gary and he'll show me the ropes. I've taken my mustang down the 1/4 mile a handful of times and I can tell you that it is a barrel-o-fun on grudge match nights ;D ;D ;D.

750's are around 74Hp at the crank right? I'll say Walms will get 69 at the wheel with his 500.

Looks great Andrew! Should have the a few of the H2 boys shaking in there boots! Especially when you rail around them on the inside as they drift wide! ;D ;D ;D My guess would be 82.6 Hp on the rear wheel! H2 killer I tell you! ;D

Do to the fact that the h1r of 1970 put out 75 hp,I think a street tuner would be hard pressed to surpass the efforts of the factory which had everything at its disposal including unlimited cash.More hp is available of course but the power band would be as wide as a razerblade. This would make it unreliable & unusable. The reeds should help to give it more power down low & widen the power band.Stock H2 is heavy and in realitivly mild tune to to keep it easy to ride at slower speeds.Bewhere H2,s you don't stand a chance.

Based on autofobe's statement I will revise my guess to 74.5 RWHP... But what hell do I know! It's just a guess... ;D

I think for putting around town, the low end torque advantage will be more meaningful. Who needs a $10000 street racing ticket for 50 over the limit and vehicle impound? Then again, you're probably going to have difficulty keeping that front end down. And you'll get $hit for that too. ;D
But with the big carbs and fancy pipes, it would be neat to know the real numbers.

I'm more of an "area under the curve" guy and reeds won't help the the peak hp numbers.... I'm with David on the high 60s low 70's for a max hp level.... But on the same token, I'm not worried about any stinkin H2 ;D ;D ;D Hell, with a bit of porting, my 400 can beat one of those slugs
