I don't think the 4.6 LB per HP would work for me. I would need about a 225HP Engine. Or cut off a couple chins.

We are just talking about the bike not the rider weight. Interestingly enough the new H2 street bike makes about 2.61 lbs per HP But the TZ 750 (although not a street bike) made about 2.31 lbs per HP 28 years ago. so much for technology.

I have to admit, wheels and suspension is something I haven't really put much effort into on my bike... I've been thinking about it more since this thread has started.

I think the rs50 forks is a cool idea...question their strength but they're inverted...probably pricey too.

Oh, I got the old model, right side up. We can get those for around €100 at the breakers. That was 4 year ago. Too many learnt about these great forks so those are becoming hard to get. Many other good moped forks around though, with damping system just like the S3. Just much better sliders (no stickslip), stanchions, tripleclamps, better brakes and less weight. All good motivation I guess. 😉

Just checked, there are still some around. RSUP for €40-80, UPSD for €80-140. One side discbrake only.
