Kudos Dale for digging through that! Perry, the bike looks great - nice mix of retro and modern. Great job: the front end looks factory.

OK, I've got it sorted out! The parts diagrams/manuals/listings are wrong. H1E: 46091-014 LH Controls.... same as all other '74 triple models... horn button... brn wire Photo: 3cyl.com/mraxl/partid/list2/46091-014.jpg26001-107 Main Wiring Harness Wiring Diagram: 3cyl.com/mraxl/wiring/H1E.jpgH1F: 46091-047 LH Controls.... same as all other '75/6 triple models... horn rocker sw... no brn wire Photo: 3cyl.com/mraxl/partid/list2/46091-047.jpg26001-117 Main Wiring Harness Wiring Diagram: 3cyl.com/mraxl/wiring/H1Fwire.jpgSince the manuals are wrong so are many of the eBay part listings. Ok, cool, So since I have 26001-117 harness, which controls should I be using, My right control has a blue/white wire and a single bl male and a double female bl, I have a left hand 4691-014, no external brn male, but rd/y, rd/blk, and blue, and also just got the repo 46091-047(with the rocker horn button) same as previous except with the additional external male brn, can`t get any of these to work. The only issue I`ve found is the brake outage circuit, the grn white wire up front is grounded to the frame so I`ll assume the module is no good, every other live line is fine, until the controls are plugged in as per, diagram, then nothing. I`m going to assume my right hand is wrong as well? I replaced it because you said it could damage my cdi units, I purchased it off a `74 s3 as I was told they were all compatible. I haven`t even check my ignition components for fear they`ve been fried. Oh-boy.

Yes indeed, very decent of you, I can take all the help I can with this issue.Thanx guys. The front end is factory, Honda factory that is, `94 cbr600r f2, I think that`s what I was told, came from insurance buy backs after Hurricane Sandy, I got it complete for 175$, bit of salt damage on the calipers, other than that, mint. PO had changed out the fork innards with all high end progressive stuff, so that was a welcomed surprise. So really all that`s left to do is , WIRING up front, exhaust if it`s ever found, carbs, and a dreaded ignition components check.

I haven`t even check my ignition components for fear they`ve been fried. Oh-boy. It is true that NO points RH control will work with CDI of any type without serious problem. The correct RH control for the -117 harness is 46132-019: 3cyl.com/mraxl/partid/list2/46132-019.jpgRd/y, rd/blk go to headlight for low/hi beam. Headlight must also have blk/yel connected. Blue and brn are looking for 12v power. Blue or blu/wht from RH sw will provide that 12v power if headlight sw is "ON". Any brn will provide 12v if keyswitch is "ON". If you connect the LH Blu to the RH blu/wht everything should work. I'm leery of the aftermarket controls since an 047 shouldn't have a brn wire.

yes I agree, I got it from Niche cycle, they said its correct for all H1,s, I even talked to them about it and they were positive!?!, it`s going back, it looks the same as those pictured in the triples data base, probably correct for Kh`s. I`m going over the wire placements on the controls I have, the rt and left look good, ie, direction signal wires are correct, engine kill is correct, no power going to it, on not grounded, off grounded. Now the head lite wires look reversed according to the diagram, on the right side it should be brn into bl(beside ea other) then bl below, mine is blu/w-bl then brn below, the bl/w and brn should be swapped, yes? on the high low selector, it look as though the rd/y and rd/blk should be swapped, does that sound right. this is assuming harness #26001-117 I should be using the h1f diagram, with no brn connection from left to right. Dale, want to come over for the afternoon

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the look of the single sided swingers...but with the dencos, it sure gives it a clean look

So I scored a set of H2b carbs I`m going to use on this thing, curious to know how close the h2 jetting will be to running the h1e engine. h1e jets are 97`s? I think, and the h2 jetting is 102.5. of course in reference to running with the Dencos and pods. Anyone have a similar set up, and where did you end up jet wise, no major porting on my engine just cleaned up nicely. Thanx in advance.

I would start there because it should be a bit rich. The B had slightly bigger mains because of the oil in the bowls. What are you using for adaptors? Or will they bolt straight up?
