Yes Curtis not a bad idea. I re connected the cables to the carbs and there all moving freely (sliders) I started investigating the clutch. I moved the clutch cable around a bit it had a bit of a bend in it. I started pulling the lever slowly and it started to move maybe it not seized it was just the way the cable was. Trevor

. Hello a little up-date on the bike. I got the carbs and boots back on, all went well I ordered 3 in line gas filters (bikers choice clear-view glass fuel filters). Reinstall the oil tank after a good cleaning put a new oil line to the pump. Installed new spark plugs and checked for sparks and happy to say I have a spark on all 3 cylinders. Thought when I put it away years ago I had no spark on the center cylinder. I must have dreamt that years ago and it became real to me. lol I got the new bolts in today and going to change them as needed. I still haven't ordered new handle bars (this week). I think the next projects are re install the stock pipes and removing the wheels (brakes and new tires). Having Fun!! Trevor the basement biker.

Hello Guys I've heard my wife say this phrase "Baby Steps". Well I guess this is baby steps in the restoring sense. I bought a battery to see if the lights and other stuff work. Step 1 complete !! lol
That's a nice bike there! Can't wait to see the final product

Hello The Kaw is hanging in the basement. I took the back wheel off today going the change the brake shoes and clean and re-grease the bearings. I ordered new sprockets 15/41. I also ordered new exhaust gaskets they are very thin. I found my old bell helmet the other day the foam inside has disintegrated, anyone re-built a helmet lol. Oh by the way who are the guys that are making the WTF expansion chambers I would like to order some after I get the bike up and running.

Hello Guys A little up-date I changed the brakes on the back wheel and put the new sprockets on. The stock pipes are back on after 35 years in a box. I put new exhaust gaskets also. Next is overhauling the front brake caliper. Its getting close to coming outside. Trevor

Hello guys I took the brake pads off the caliper and the dust seals were wet and falling apart I will have to order new ones. The cylinder seals were dry and clean? I took a c-clamp to the cylinder and it is not seized. Well I guess am down for now till the parts come in.
