Hello Guys Working on the front brakes. I dismantled the master cylinder and cleaned it put it back together its working ok but I order a kit to be sure. I took the compressor to the caliper to remove the piston. wow The piston came flying out, cleaned it up its in good shape. There was some mud [dirty oil} inside the caliper cleaned it all out. I tried to bleed the brakes the pressure built up but didn't get down to the caliper. The bottom line must be plugged. I tried to dis connect the two lines (in picture) can't seem to get them to come apart I heated them with a heat gun still couldn't get it.I was glad the see that the pressure switch still works for the brake light . Oh well I sprayed the joints with penetrating oil, try again tomorrow.

Thanks H2 Dude and Shiloh Greatly appreciated Check out that mess that's why I couldn't bleed the line a while back. lol Make sure to shine a light in the piston channel were that plunger went into . Mine looked like that when I took it apart and after a complete new kit rebuild and few brake squeezes later , all the brake fluid began to leak out all over my fresh paint job , and powder coated frame whilst riding along . Reason being was that inside of that tube had small pitting that I missed and it never sealed or ever will . I was thinking of putting some JB weld in there and then sanding it out , but it is tapered and that would be a bitch to get correct . If you see pitting then don't use it and get another used one from someone or an after market one ... I was lucky enough to get another working one from zambia ...Thanks again Z . It's still workin great . Good luck ...

Well Guys its been 27 years since this bike has seen the sun!! LOL I can now start on the engine start-up, but I am used to the air conditioning. Curtis I installed the Russell brake lines. Great brake lines easy to work with. I will start working on it again once it cools off 42 deg. is pool weather.

Man its nice biking weather!!! Best NOT to use premix for startup.... let it idle while holding pump cam wide open... takes a few minutes.

Hello Guys it was a nice day to work on the bike. I changed the bowl gaskets on the carbs I was worried about a leak. I also put new filters on the petcock. Well now it was time to put some gas in the tank first time in 32 years. I turned the petcock on and shit gas was coming out of the 2 outside carbs. Took them apart and it must have been the floats because after putting them back on they didn't leak. I gave it two kicks and nothing put the choke on and it started, wait till you see the video lol. Thanks to mraxl I didn't put in any mixed gas in and hoped that the pump would start, it did. I could see some bubbles in the line so I know it was pumping it cleared up and started to smoke. Thanks every one for your help couldn't have done it without you!!! A video is coming. Trevor
