Hendrix intentionally used right handed stratocasters strung left to create a signature sound as the angled bottom treble pickup would pick up the low strings closer to the bridge.
The kits are ok, but if cost is a consideration, lots of cheap guitars on kijiji for the beginner.

I've seen lefty epiphone les pauls for cheap at the local hock shops, 200 bucks or less. Even though I'm left handed, I've always played right. Eat and write w/left hand only. Throw right, shoot right, guitar right. Situational learning I guess.

I should stay away from the music shops.... couldn't resist. But the sound on this little amp is fantastic, Orange Crush 20RT. Has built in dirty and a tuner. While I was checking it out, I decided to buy the guitar I was using as well. Aria strat. Nice sound, good feel, and heinous colour. The trifecta I look for.

Cool, We should form a triples band, all we need is a good bassist.

Yesterday was "New Guitar Friday". Picked up an Epiphone Les Paul 100. Played it for an hour in the store before buying it. Had a small audience of 2 teenage girls until their parents left the store Couldn't put it down. Then played till midnight when I got it home. My guitar problem is getting bigger than my motorcycle problem. Which is to say, no problem at all...

My favorite motovlogger is the same way (bakerxderek) he brings the guitars home in a back pack while riding

I have the orange crush 12(I think?) it's a nice little amp - coupled with a Dean Les Paul with Seymour Duncan 59 dirty bridge and 59 Jazz neck it is terrific

Just scored a 10" polk audio 540w sub and an 500w alpine mono amp for the eclipse. Alice in Chains never sounded so good.

Sony TC730 reel to reel 4 track recorder for that 70s sonic quality. Needs a little clean up but seems to work ok.

I could be mistaken but I think the tape is threaded the wrong way round
