Hey there Bolly, For that stereo setup a sub with two PSB Alpha 2s I think. That room with its home theater application and 5.1 sub's fixed wiring location limit me with the present compromise. Music seems to sound a bit better upstairs with 2 large full range speakers, however I do have the whole home theater room to myself and if I tried for a second dedicated sound room I might get hurt. I really shouldn't complain. rt

I wanted a winter project and bought this sx636 with issues.. turns out it just needed the controls cleaned as well as the RCA input terminals.

Nice. They do not make mid grade audio stuff like they used to. Shit from the 70s and 80s still runs fine today while the modern stuff has something screwed up inside in a few years. Guess you'll have to buy another project

Hey Dave, do you offer a repair service? I have a mid 70's Toshiba SA-725 that has finally quit working.

Just read this thread, some pretty cool stuff guys. I had optinica stuff, was good in the day, but non of it works now besides the tt, which I still use. All I have for tunes now is my early 90's yorkville 16ch brd, powered, and 4 reflex mains, 10" cones and horn in ea cab. I sold all my crown amps(4x1000w ea), but can still get huge clean sound running down to 4ohms. Set up outside, its as clear as a bell a km down the road, and the natural reverb from the surrounding trees and bush is breathe taking. Like being at a concert.

Refurbished my Randall Century II 170 amp that I got 23 years ago and picked up Randall 4x12 cabinet with Celestion Seventy 80's. This stack rocks pretty hard, need earplugs for practicing. Curtis gave me a black Les Paul clone (made in Japan) a couple years ago that I put back together last month, just needed some soldering and pickup rings. It actually sounds pretty good, has a good crunch to it, but feeds back a bit early. I picked up the purple guitar over the holidays, it has wicked sustain and a clean tone that is much better than any of my other guitars.

I can think of a better kit to assemble My daughter and son are learning, I've took a few lessons when my daughter was busy, something I'd like to do but I'm left handed and for some reason, left handed guitars are a lot more. This way is far cheaper
