Not till towards end of season, the GSXR I picked up needs a bunch of work but it is already all lock wired with a set of slicks and a few other sets of tires, full Yosh system, been sitting long time needs all the brakes rebuilt and few other things

I'm not going to be at TMSP this time either. I think I'm going to look for a track day at Shannonville or CTMP that fits my schedule to make up for it.

Did some research on kzrider.com and got some solid advice from some very experienced GPz550 owner/racers. One of the tips was to check the floats. BINGO!! Reset the floats, returned the jetting and needles to recommended settings and we're running clean and strong with no stumbles, all the way through redline. Another reminder to always go back to the beginning and start with the simplest things first.

Can't wait to get out to TMP on Sept 17th!! I'll get a chance to see how the GPz/kz550 really runs.

Can't wait to get out to TMP on Sept 17th!! I'll get a chance to see how the GPz/kz550 really runs. Wish I could be there ! I am still going to try to come just to watch, spoke to Dave Howarth at Mosport about the track days - looks like it will be a continuous thing so maybe next season I will be on the grid with ya Drew
