Finished up my frame bracing last night. Not sure how much weight I added, But I'm almost out of welding wire! Those round welds are brutal, they will need some cleaning up Now to get it painted, nothing fancy VHT Rattle can

That's what she said! Yeah it looks pretty beefy, probably added 10lbs of steel though. But I did get rid of the battery box and all the surplus electronics including the battery thanks to the Jim's super Regulator. Man that thing is slick.

Built an inner fender last night, just have to weld some tabs to bolt it on, unless you guys have a better way of fastening it?

Do you think that may vibrate or will it be tight enough to not be heard?

I thought about it, but it is heavy gauge aluminum and seems pretty solid. Hopefully it doesn't. But if it does off it comes!

Or just add some foam tape to where it touches the frame It looks too clean to remove

That would work too. I did space it away from the frame the thickness of a 5/8" washer, which is probably around an 1/8" thick. The other thing I have done in the past is taken some rubber fuel tubing from my Nitro RC cars and split it along the edge and glued it to the piece. Looks cleaned without anything on it for sure

Put your shades back on Fred, there is more Bling! Frame is at the powder coater and should be done on Monday. So that left me some time to finish off the triples. I sanded down the casting flange and polished the beast up. Started like this After a little sanding with the die grinder And ended up like this: I am super stoked with how this front end is coming together. Can't wait til next week to get the frame back

While I was waiting for the frame to come back I polished up some more bits for the front end and added some speed holes on the light bracket. Started working on the rear brake stay. Bent up a piece of tubing. Just need to find some eyes with the right size thread Checked my messages on Saturday morning and the Powder Coaters called Friday my frame is done! Same day service from these guys, I will use them again. So I had to start putting her back together, polished up the rear shock tops Swinger and Wheel on Bolted up the front end and finished up Sunday night like this
