Paint it green and slap a Drewski KTC sticker on the side and you good to go!
Can't you squeeze a CR500 or a Yamaha 400 smoker in there?

I was reading a bit on another fella's build, I think it was on kawi2stroke, where the guy was trying to reduce the vibration of a CR500 road-race bike using a tuned mass damper on the crank... He had limited success with it and ended up swapping to a smaller motor to make the bike streetable. After hearing that Jim B. was getting 38 HP from his CR125 shifter cart, the 250 seemed like a no brainer for this frame.

I remember seeing a bike in Steve Crover's garage before he passed. (Competition Wheels) It was a Honda RS250 or may have been a RS125 with a CR500 in it. He said the same thing, lots of vibes! Looked wicked fast though.
What year engine are you going to use?

A quick google netted 1998-2001 for the most desirable years... I'm sure the suspension is part of this opinion as well but 2001 is supposed to have the best hit...

Yes- sir- e- bob.... No clue how I'm going to go about it though? I reckon there are a few sparkies here that I can lean on though. I'll have the same issue with my G3 and plan to just use a 12 volt KE iggy and harness as they came with lights and signals

2001 was the last year for mechanical power valves. 02 and up were electronic 1998 was a weapon! really strong. 500's are hilariously fast but are paint shakers. My buddy used to ride one in the trails with us and following him was like riding into the chute of a snowblower!!! I still have nightmares of the shrapnel flying at me!!

Thanks for the lead Steve! The only 500 I rode was my brother-in-law's KX... He told me to watch the wheelie factor, so I jumped on and practically sat on the gas tank and gave her the juice across his back yard, I sort of lost my head and just nailed it! the front tire lofted the whole time going through the gears... When I turned the bike around I saw the damage I had done to his and his neighbour's lawn, no one was impressed! I really had no idea the trench and rooster tail the thing was spitting out! fun bike!
