I wanted a F150 too but ended up with a Focus instead... I commute about the same distance as my neighbour every week, he spends about $150 a week with his 1/2 ton, and I'm at $45. I often bug him about the savings in gas would pay for another car in his driveway!

Now I'm stuck with the old Accord, I can't get the wife outa the Ridgeline!
Ok now back to the build.
Walms, do you have the whole CB125, front end, rear wheel etc?
I wonder what the weight difference is between the CR vs CB engine? Bet the CR is lighter!

I have wheels but they are for the G3 project... I reckon I'll just go back to that CBR125 forum, the place is huge and the good part is its mostly Canadian so buying parts is good for shipping costs. I might look for wheels from a 250 or other on this bike... 100-80-18 just ain't going to cut it on the rear of this beast!

Motors seem to be few and far between so far... Good thing I'm not in a rush! Ha! I saw this one this week but don't plan to pull the trigger just yet. 1994 cr250r motor on Kijiji hamilton.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?AdId=501662075

Knock em down to 300 bucks and that makes it a cheaper rebuild.
Will the CBR 250 rear wheels fit ? I would think going wider will have a chain issue...

I'll be checking the frame to be certain but based on the swingarm, the original chain ran inside the frame rails by a good chunk. As long as there is room in the frame, offset sprockets are easy enough. Yeah, it doesn't hurt to low ball does it!

If you low ball em, you might knock enough off to cover a new piston and ring, If I remeber right, my brothers CR125 the chain ran inside the frame on top of the swing arm as well

Use a cast bore piston ? Just forget about re plating the cylinder ?

I kind of like the idea of Nicasil though
