Yeah Andrew, it's Magura Blood you need to apply in order to make it swell.

I thought the fluid was Magura "Blood", which as I remember is mineral oil, whereas DOT5 is silicone fluid (oil). Thats right Jim it was Magura Blood. I used DOT 5 this time.

I ended up removing .08" from the pushrod to be on the safe side. That puts the piston flush with the end of the cylinder at full stroke which leaves plenty of clearance from the back of the cylinder cup to the banjo and bleed port openings. Also I used new copper crush washers but couldn't get them to stop leaking. Very slight but still a leak. I ended up using some 10mm stat o seals and that took care of it. Works great again.

Parker Stat-O-Seals are definitely the way to go.

Probably Stat-O-Seals, marked up to 3x the price.

Probably Stat-O-Seals, marked up to 3x the price. They were actually cheaper. I was expecting to get gouged but that wasn't the case plus they were the only local shop that had them in stock. Made in China..........the good stuff.

No takers? You guys really need to commit to one of these, they're great. This setup is leaps and bounds ahead of any mechanical actuator available and I've tried them all. Smooth action, very easy clutch pull, no cable to wear out, and much easier to route the hydraulic line than the bulky, stiff clutch cable. I need at LEAST one more. Ned, how many orders do you need for another run of these? Can we get a count of who wants one now?

I hate giving Ned kudos because he's a bit of a wanker but he did hit a home run with the hydro clutch actuator!

Do you plan to make any changes to the bleed valve? Mine has the bolt type bleeder.
