I ran a bar down all 3 right to the turn at the exhaust pipe. It still isn't perfect nor does it go like it did with the Kawonda pipes. gary has a set of pipes for sale and I have told him I'd take them. Only 10 days left. Going for a safety check today.

I road it up to get the safety and it still ran like a bag o' crap. took the pipes off and ran up to my buddy at the local garage. Cut the suckers open and cleaned out half a ton more of $hit. hopefully that's it and I'll be ready for Don's.
If anyone is interested, cut about 1 1/2 inches behind the last big taper and then heat the baffle and it falls right out. This is by experiment. Made 3 cuts in the first one. Oh well, maybe black pipes look tougher.

FWIW: Jetting for Wirges on a 500 should be 97.5 or 100 mains, clip in #4.. maybe #3, #30 pilot. My new Sudco pilots are 3.0 is that the same as the #30 you are referring to?

I spoke too fast. Put the pipes on today. it is so loud even I can't stand it and there is no improvement. It still bogs at 3500. The timing is right. I am going to put the Kawonda pipes on again and see how it goes. I'm beginning to hate this bike and my wife already does.

The battery DOES have a full charge? You did confirm the plug caps are non resistor?

Plug ends Nichiwa XD055 Long things. I don't know if they are resistor or not. Battery reads 12.1V

Battery voltage might be low. Mine would read around 12.9 volts (no load,no iggy) after a 2 hr ride with the engine off.
Better check the plug ends with a meter. They should read zero ohms if non resistor. There have been reports of resistor caps causing issues.
When you fitted the kawonda pipes and the H1 ran well did you do anything else at that time? Otherwise if the other wirges ran well mod their mounts and run them for now.

I would appreciate all input on this one. yes, I am a whiner but I want to have a Kawi at Don's. 1) No exhaust blockage Wirges pipes cut open and internal baffles removed 2) Timing as per H1B book... checked and re-checked 3) Mains 100's 4)Pilots #30 5) I will take carbs off ...again and clean out choke passages etc
Symptoms Starts 2nd kick but all cylinders don't run until warm Take off needs revs but that is normal Pulls OK until 3000 to 3500 and then bogs Needles at #3 position . Tried at 4th as per Mraxl but 3 works better No difference between with or without air filters (pods from Andre) Emgo's Gas at all carbs and seems to be flowing freely
A little stumped at this time.

Oh yes, I took the wire ends off the Kawonda which are definitely non resistor and no difference
battery voltage 12.4 V

Did you do the carb sync on mraxls site, starting from totally unscrewing the idle screws?
And youi mentioned 3.0 sudco jets. It sounds like you rebuilt the carbs. If this is so and you used all the partd in the kit, then you need to remove EVERYTHING but the bowl gasket and fuel needle and seat, the rest is literally garbage and does not work.
