Will check my notes on carbs specs Andrew as I cannot remember where I had them set at for pipes. This will help me so thank you.. We are at sea level so TO should be relatively close to that so your specs will be pretty darn close for my base point ...
Thanks and any other tidbits much appreciated...

Regarding stinger length from your other post: I had to cut my stingers a bit to fit new muffler mounts. In reading some 2 stroke stinger length posts on the interwebs, it wasn't so much the length as it was the diameter that mattered to a greater degree. I'm still at 8x length in relation to the ID. I've read some stories on guys with almost no stinger length getting good results. Looks like you've got lots of length to play with though. Fantastic build, very interested in your bike weight numbers.

Btw, I have an almost identical fairing. Can you post some close up pics of your lower mounting detail? (Holes at the Bottom of the molding, I assume to a clamp of some kind to the forks) I have some ideas but I'm still interested. I've mounted an aluminum strip from the rubber mounted instrumentation bolt to the inside of the windscreen to prevent rotation, see pics. I suspect vibration will cause problems. Wanna keep it rock solid. View from side of top triple clamp. Strip angles up to the left from this perspective: My used fairing had a Previous Owner hacked cutout that I quickly fashioned an aluminum plate to...bolted the strip to this:

Got the pipes pulled off for new muffler fitting so I can't post a extremely current photo, but if you go to page 23 of the "Zombie" thread in the Projects category you can see how I had them laid out for the past 7 years. Below is a pic of the mounts, centre pipe on bottom. These mounts have never broken, the left side however... walms has had to avoid a dropped pipe several times at Cayuga trackdays! 😃

Ok guys did a quick weigh in while home for lunch by myself and here is what the bike shows with home scale:
1- Front came in at 133lbs with front tire across scales and rear tire on block of wood similar in thickness..
2- Rear tire came in at 136lbs with same principle used as above.
So based on this is the bike truly 269lbs give or take a few lbs for scale accuracy and me trying to balance the bike while holding the camera...
Again the real proof will be when I take the bikes to a proper scale.
For now this can get the discussion going and its not the 240lbs I had hoped for but well shy of the 356lbs the manufacturer says they weigh in at...
More to follow, Paul
