When you have that bike and you can't manage to keep it together without changing things progress has been slow. Started back into it recently and have been back around reading on this forum again. Wanted to share. My bike is getting an fzr 600 swing arm swap. I know it lengthens the wheelbase and all, but I'd like to try it out and then consider shortening it if necessary.

Thank you. The shop is actually at my work. I work at a BMW dealer and bmw makes a tool for everything, as you can see on the walls.

Looking good. From what I remember you get the fzr swingers back to stock late h1 specs in length pretty easily. If you want to go shorter you have to start getting creative.
FWIW, Cody had a stock length swingarm on the kh750 bike and reported very good/stable handling on it.

FWIW, Cody had a stock length swing arm on the kh750 bike and reported very good/stable handling on it. I think the fzr600 swing arm is a bit longer than the fz600. I know the fz600 swing arm is almost identical to the h1 in length. I have the fz660 unit on my h2b and it returned the chassis dimensions to original h2. It worked great! The fz was offered from '85 - '87. The forks slide right into the h1/h2 triple clamps as well.

Never liked the old oil tank on my bike. I tried to think of a unique design, then said f it and fame up with this. I installed a small baffle inside just to slow oil moving away from the pickup. I'm not sure if it really does much, curious to hear other opinions. Not fancy Instagram welds. I'm sure it's leak proof though. When the cap gets welded in I'll pressure test. Skye

Thanks guys! I built a sweet coil bracket but admittedly got the idea from Oxford but with a slight twist. I'm not sure I should post it though being it's not my own. It came out exceptional however. I'm finally motivated again.
