Have you ever wondered:
"How many H2 projects can you have at once before you loose your mind?"
Well the answer is 4.... I'll be like that crazy homeless guy but instead of having a bunch of stray dogs I'll be huddled around a pile of unfinished H2's. hahaha
OK..Now back to just ONE bike... My bike.
Finally sorted out the back end and collected all the appropriate spacers and whatnot. I was hoping to have more finished but it is what it is.
Next up is the front wheel, make a custom hard line to the caliper then it "should pretty much be ready to rock with a set of pipes.

Yeah, Crusty won't look anything like that. I dunno though... Id rather have an all original bike like crusty if I were initially given the chance. It's got character...mine will be like every other h2

No real big photo updates today but I have crossed off a lot of little finishing details in the last couple weeks. I feel a bit bad that it's been on the back burner as I've been working on the other bikes. HOWEVER, come March I'll be moving all the bikes under one roof in a brand new shop (garage) in our new home. I'm REALLY excited to FINALLY have my own space that I can properly organize and inventory all of my parts in / have real space to work. Can't wait to see the whole family lined up together..right now I've got bikes in 4 different locations....
OK...
Updates: Any left over hardware that had bad chrome OR SHOULD be chrome was replaced
Added a rectifier
Installed chain Swapped out the EX Caliper with another so it sits in the correct orientation with the big / small piston.
I also had a hard time finding mirrors that I liked until I found these cheap Ebay specials. $15 shipped and came with a bunch of different thread adapters to suit various bikes. They seem to be half decent so we'll see how they actually perform... I do however really like how they look. With my wide black MX bars and Hydro clutch these mirrors seem to fit perfectly. A little touch of clean modern on a beautiful classic ...perfection

I like your style. Those mirrors really suit. Do you know how they will react to excessive vibration?

Thanks!
My guess.... terribly Hahaha there's no rubber mounting at all and they sit pretty low do I'll get a great view of my arms.
There's a local guy who runs them on his cafe and he doesn't seem to mind

In a couple weeks I'll be moving which means somehow making sense of all my parts / bikes that seem to have literally piled up. Because of this I want to make sure that my bike will be all together so nothing gets mixed up in the mix.
After setting up a clean work space to line the gas tank I noticed a TINY bit of surface rust starting to show on a few spots in the tank. This was Unacceptable so out came the Evaporust!
Finally got around to installing the front wheel / fender.
...I know the caliper is dirty..it will be fixed.
Chain guard Installed
Oil Pump Cover Installed ...I noticed some mark on the clutch cover so I'll have to re-polish that.
Installed a battery and put power to the lights for the 1st time.. A couple issues to work out but I'm happy with it so far.
The signals and neutral light work great. The indicator light stays on constantly and nothing from the headlight. Does the bike need to be running for the headlight to work?
Finished LH Assy ...With Spare Tank
Finished RH Assy

Haven't been able to do any work on the bike the last couple weeks as we've been moving. LAST weekend was all the house stuff and finally this past weekend it was time to move the bikes. This was also the 1st time I've had my H2 rolling and out in the Sun. Talk about a rewarding experience to see it out shining for the 1st time.
I've still got 3 more bikes to move over but until I sort all the parts away there's just no room at the moment. In the mean time this will have to do...I guess
Even took a couple of them up and down the road a couple time to let the neighborhood we've officially moved in! haha suckers!!
..although on my "tour" of the neighborhood I discovered a couple cool cars in peoples garages they had open so I may have to stop by and make friends with these like minded people.
This is the 1st time I've had these 2 bikes together. "His and Her Triples" Looking forward to some quality time with my girlfriend on these 2 bikes.
No I need to sort through ALL THOSE BOXES to put parts away and clear some more space.
