Hindle quit racing in 78 & 79.That is why he is not on the list.He came back to race with Mcmurter in 80 & 81.

Drewski !!So cool to see that old program, That is some fascinating reading!! Thanks so much for posting! I never really followed superbikes till around 1980ish. First time for me at Mosport was 1976 formula 1, It was wild watching the 6 wheel tyrell cars ripping around. It was an absolute ZOO with people and a SEA of empty beer bottles !! Thanks for posting !!

Thanks for posting !! Haha! I was there too! The sound as the field rounded corner 1 on the opening lap was amazing!! I could feel it in my body!! The Tyrell's were very cool machines! The crowd was immense, wasn't it?!

The crowd was immense, wasn't it?! Oh yes... Nothing compared to today, It was like Woodstock, No cops and only "Perry's Merry Men" , A bunch of hippies that were the grounds security. I was just 15 and went with my good friend Ian, He just bought a chevy van and us being straight laced kids... It was a real shocker!!! . We looked from every vantage point around the track, You could visually see how much faster the 6 wheel tyrell cars went around mosses corner. When we left, We filled the Van to the roof with empty's that almost paid for the trip!!
