The term "Polishing a turd" springs to mind... Were known as Plastic Maggots in the UK. Each to his own. Might be a little harsh ... it's the "Poor man's Guzzi". Not my favorite Honda, but guys have done wonders with improving the looks of it. Have fun with the process daffey! Looks good so far.

I got the motor reinstalled and the heads installed but that's about it for now.Things are realy busy at the shop right now so by day's end, 10hour days, I'm pretty much just ready to go home, lol. Will get some pics up as soon as I can. thanks for the intrest. Also had 2 bikes arrive on my door step this week, A 1982 Yamaha Seca 750 and a Yamaha Vison. Both from customers trying to make room in their garages for new toys and have lost intrest in these old bikes. I'm going to have to build a shed for my collection I think

No real progress, it's been a crazy busy summer but will be back at it soon. Hope to sell my GL after a ride or two in the spring also. Trying to find a trip to Victoria, BC?

Well after a slow start to spring weather and busniess at work doing it's usual pick up in spring and summer, going through 2 rounds of surgeries for kidney stones, the passing away of my father mid July, then 3 weeks away in Africa for the Merzouga Rally. Now I'm back, getting caught up at work and now it's time to get back at this bike to get it ready for spring. Yesterday I got the carbs installed aswell as the rad

Well, I managed to make a muffler for this GL/CX project this weekend. Now to make some new header pipes to go with it.
