I plan on cutting quite a lot of the rear frame off and anything else that I don't need

In the UK the main problem is certain spare parts like timing chain tensioner components, The machine in it's many different guises was very popular in it's time

Well, she's back up on her wheels with lowered front forks and new CBF1000 rear shock next , get the tank fitted

The GL/CX was known for 3 things 1) cam chain prematurly over stretching, 2) stators burning out and 3) waterpump mechanical seal failures. Lucky me, my GL has all three, but it's ok, I know a guy cam chain stator

I got my tank finished, rattle can (Tremclad) White with clear over top And I got my seat from Airtech, not mounted yet, just sitting on top of frame rails
