If Pipe Welder is busy, Roland recommended a welder in Brampton. He was very impressed with the patch on the gas tank he welded for his H2 project. When I got caught up, I was going to fire off the pipe for our G3 project to give him an idea of the amount of welding and time involved.
Btw, the new pipe will drop 5 pounds off the bike... Better than missing a meal! Lol

Appreciate the feedback boys. It's good to know you're looking out for me! I left the pipe with the "one and only" Pipewelder on Wednesday night. I'm not in a hurry for it. He needs something to practice on before he get's into his own set anyway!! We had a cool evening discussing all kinds of "life issues", including Triples of course. You otta see the project he's working on these days!! Whoa!! I'll leave the revelation of the "Project" to Jim. It'll be a little while before it's ready to "turn a wheel", but it'll be worth the wait! Jim had some dropbars for me that fit the G3. They'll transform it instantly into a Cafe Racer!! I'll swap 'em for the flatbars and post up a pic next week.

Got the bars installed. Nothin's to technical for me man!! Apparently, good pics are too technical. Poor lighting in the garage.

Did you cut them down a bit ? They look narrow !!! Good lane splitting bars Good eye Curtis!! Well done!! No chop chop for me. They came that way. Made narrower for smaller cc bikes. They were too narrow for Jim's h2, so... I just happenned to have a spare set that were used previously on my h2. Presto chango... perfect for the h2... perfect for the G3!!
