Met David today, . Swapped a two Four for a bunch of parts which might come in handy in the future . I can vouch that the quality of David's work is top notch, the S1 / H1 is going to be awesome. . 21 yrs old & all that talent.. Your Dad must be proud. Really nice bike collection by the way, I've always been partial to the older Honda's.. SoupD.

I got my wheels powder coated.. need tires and bearings now. Started working on my pipes again.. Traced the cones onto steel, cut them out and rolled them at my uncles shop when I picked the wheels up. I welded the seams with my mig welder, but i'm not as good as i thought.. so I am going to grind them all flush and have someone at my uncle's shop tig them after I tack them together fitted to the bike.

^ Thanks guys! Should have the pipes done soon. They're a lot more work than I thought. I cut out all the pieces with tin snips... my hand still hurts.
I should be getting my body work back from the painter soon too. Hopefully I won't get into too much trouble when its done and on the road next summer...

Thanks. I built them out of exhaust pipe and 3/8 plate. The header pipe fits in between 2 pieces of pipe.

Thanks.. Got the left side fitted as well now.... just the center one then I can get them all welded up..
Don, where do you get the stinger tube from? Havn't measured the Diameter yet, but will electrical conduit work? A thin wall type.
How loud would the bike be if I left it with open stingers? I guess I would go deaf/ have the cops after me. Don't have the money for silencers right now... and I don't think i'll try to build any.I kind of like the look of the open stingers as well.

Those pipe's are tucked in nice. There is a place in the States that has silencers for $15 a pop... I'll have to find the link. If you put the stinger inside the baffle, it will quiet it down a bit, but I don't think you'll be able to ride around town, unless you're really fast. ;D
