I didn't think 2 strokes created enough of a signal to be using CV carbs... Shows you what I know! Iol Do they work well? I assume not so much for performance or they would be more common???

Well, I don't have a mercury carb thingee. She really pulls in the low range but there is no high rev kick like the Kaw. I don't know if this is just my typical crummy tuning, the 3 into 1 pipe or the crappy fuel cock. It sounds like a 750 Honda with this pipe. Way too quiet. No nasty looks as you ride by from people on the roadside.

Momma and daughter (home for the summer from University) think it's not gross. Everything else I do, is, by the way.

I raced one at mosport 2 years ago.I found it large heavy & slow.My 500 would eat it alive. If you check the specs, you will find the H2 has more torque. With a lot of work & cash they can be made very fast.In stock condition they make a good two up cruser.

low rev pull is great. i am not a racer. Most riding is done on the street at lower revs and the usable power is really nice there. i still would rather ride the Kaw but it is nice, especially when momma wants to come.

And those are the reasons that they sold so well.

The GT 750 is a gentleman's bike and the H2 is for the bad ass kid if you want to compare the 2. The GT will not yank your arms off BUT pulls steady, is MUCH quieter and purrs. The H2, well no need to explain this beast do I..lol

The CV carbs do a lot to tame it.They don't respond to fast blips on the throttle. The slides open slowly by vacuum from the inlets and not from the throttle cable. Now if a GT is for gentlemen and a Kaw 3 is for bad ass's,what's Dave doing with either of these bikes? They make these real cute electric scooters these days....

Don't laugh at him Walms, it only encourages him.
BTW roadrash, I booked my hotel for June and I will be down there on Friday June 14. Better start saving up for beer. I'll be the one on the grey sex machine.

If it makes it that far!Still waiting for oil seal set from Diablo. If they aren't in stock their website should say so.I could have got them from E-bay weeks ago. If I show up on a 49 yr. old Honda can I still play?

Sure. It creates some comments but these guys even accepted a Norton. Of course, it had a way cool rider. You're kind of out of luck on that front.
Got to love that Hawk though.

Donnie has Taken the "Steve McQueen" of the triples... So you must be the "Jack Nicholson " of triples. Not sure if its from "a few good men" or "the shining" though, that's still up in the air...
