Fired her up today too. The Torque Cannon sounds really good. A little quiet but good. Just got to make the right cylinder fire a little better. These bikes are kinda nice too though. Tons o' torque and the cannon shoots the smoke right up in the air. Way cool.

Hey, anybody know how to set the CV carbs individually? There don't seem to be any adjustment screws on them. Right cylinder fires with choke on but comes in and out when it's off.

Is the.needle and seat leaking. Those cv carbs are notorious for bad seats and needles

I got this thing running on all cylinders today. You know, this is a nice bike. Gobs of torque, nice sound from the Torque Cannon pipe.

CV carbs which I have no experience with. After market seat, cafe style. smoke shoots straight up in the air for great effect. Very restrained sound like a 4 stroke almost. gobs o power. No Kaw though.

It's only been thirty years since I worked on a Skuzuki but isn't there an idle air screw in front of the slide diaphragm? It should be facing up and may have a rubber plug over it.Like I said, alot of brain cells have gone out the pipes in thirty years!

cool, there it is. since I got it filled up with gas, it is only fitting that I have to drain the tank and clean out the fuel cock some more. Runs great on prime but not so good on main or reserve.

Dave..The BS40 carbs are easy to do..You need a mercury style gage .I like these better than the other gages. The carbs have vacuum fitting lines installed . remove the leftrubber boot , remove the vacum line for petcock and the RH rubber plug. Install your the lines from the mercury filled meter and fire her up..O Ya have the bike already warmed up.. You will have to remove the tank and hook up a remote fuel supply. There is a adjustment screw for the left and center carbs. The RH is your main which sets the idle. Very easy to do and waaay quicker than a Triple eer kawi triple..lol
These carbs have the main jet in the bottom of the bowl yes the bottom. The left and RH will be the same size 110 and the center should be 107.5 Your pilot maybe a 47.5 which is 1/4 turn out some had 45 at 3/4 These are also located inside the bowl The pilot jets look the same as a VM BUT they are NOT and will cause grief if used. Float height is 27.7 with the tang just touching the needle , gasket removed.
Your gong to LOVE this bike Dave
