A friend had custom made 2 into 1 for his Harley bobber and left it raw and spent more time scuffing and mop and glo, the up jeep wasn't worth it to him, he broke down and had them ceramic coated clear and they were "OK" then

Clear ceramic coat right after welding sounds like a winner

Just a word of advice. You never see the top rear mount used on any race bikes. If you do it will brake the rear top case or will crack the frame.I see you also removed the rubber mounted bars from under the engine which makes it worse. You were warned.Looking good though.

Brad I have heard about the top rear mount breaking on a race bike. I figured it would be ok on the street. I could take them off. What rubber mounted bars under the engine?

Ya they will crack on the street too.I would leave it off.I was mistaking about the rubber mounted bars under the engine. They were put on the RDLC to try to stop the engine mount from cracking. Brad
