Today after hockey it was so nice out I dug into the bike in the back yard. It has spark and gets fuel. Took the head off and it’s clean no carbon build up on the piston either. From what I can see there is no scoring on the cylinder walls. Took the carb off and lots of oil in the intake but the carb is nice and clean.
The air filter foam was completely broken down and hanging off so until I order a new one I cleaned it up and used one of the kids socks.
I can see through the intake everything is lubed up and shiny and I can shift through all gears.
When I get back from the next game I’m going to get some fresh gas and try to start it again.

I have worked on a pipe, I even have a couple kits laser cut, just for testing. I’m assuming the same engine as KE. If so, the engine hasn’t changed since 1982, I have a few boxes of parts I’ve been collecting for my builds.

What’s the float height on this 4mm? I really need a manual I know. I can’t get fuel to flow when I hook it up to the carb no matter what I do.
