It’s rich not lean - which could be an indication of poor spark in one cylinder You can get a cheapie infrared thermometer from Canadian tire and compare each pipe and see which one is running fat Went for a 45 minute ride around town. +14 degrees Temperatures were Left 278F Center 285F Right 308F

Well for my two bobs worth, The biggest improvement you will make to a H2 motor is to have your cylinder heads squish bands redone the originals are shockers. Mine were done by Klemm Vintage he is the go to man. Mark your throttle grip in 1/4 marks from idle to full throttle, put the original rubber y piece and air cleaner box back in with a k&N filter, make sure ignition timing on all 3 cylinders is correct with a timing light at revs, buy Ivans jet kit and set the carbs up as he suggests and start from there. You have to know the difference between surging (lean) and 4 stroking (rich) otherwise you have no hope. On my H2b set up this way I ended up with 32 pilot, 1mm off the slide cut away (leaner), needle in center position, 97.5 main jet. I run NGK 8, 9 are too cold even for freeways, I always run 98 octane fuel and Yamalube oil.
