Also added two more component failure points. I find simpler is usually best.

6 of one half dozed of the other. I would rather have a breakdown than a hydrolock anyday.......

I agree 100% JA-Moo a break down is the lesser evil to a hy-block. There are other failure modes like: valve off, switch broken with ignition always active, that one scares me. There is the valve failed off (rare) for whatever reason be it a sheared lever or internal issue. Valve could be fail on or simply left on and still cause a hy-block with bad check valves because you don't know they are pooched. Check valves weeping usually offer gradual symptom level increase prior to hy-blocking such as too much smoke on start-up for a certain cylinder, so it either gets fixed or it gets masked. More connections mean more chances for leaks. Murphy's Law can be mitigated some with good building skills, careful inspection, and very dedicated procedure but he still likes complication and human nature. I think I still prefer the KISS theory. Bonding the Yamaha valves into the banjo ends some how may have been wiser for less oil line connections, still thinking about that one. I looked at the extra line connections on the Yamaha check valves and considering I got rid of the 3 carb oil lines; as it sits respectively I still figure at worst a good trade. LOL Terrible way to think but that's how my twisted little head works! rt

Thought I'd list the specs for the tubing I selected incase someone wants it. Versilon C-210-A in the 1/8"ID and 1/4" OD which is the thicker 1/16" wall format of the 1/8" ID tubing. Good to 200F(93C) continuous applications. If your tubing gets hot enough to cause material damage, you will have already had some nasty issues to deal with. FYI-My CB750 SOHC runs much hotter and I've used lesser tubing for years at 30C+ OAT. Tygon yellow fuel tubing is rated at 165F or so. www.usplastic.com/catalog/files/specsheets/Versilon-C210A.pdf
