So, you might be interested in how we came up with this shade of "Kawasaki Green". Or... maybe not. Regardless, here's what happened. Brother 'Seaglider' swapped out the front end and rear wheel off his zrx1200 with zx14 bits a year or 2 ago. The fender off the zx14 didn't match the zrx colour of course. This year we decided it was time to find a match. As well, the Ninja Project needed a new look as well... so... Here's the original zrx fender on the right and the 'match' on the left: Pretty good work IMO! So, the Ninja is now "2001 Kawasaki zrx1200 Green" and Seaglider's zrx has a matching fender. "I love it when a plan comes together!"

Thanks Boys. I'm amazed as well at how 'put together' this all looks. Now to solve the seat-pad challenge. I have a couple of ways to go here. I'm going to try the 'simplest' way first. It gives me something to park my butt on right away at least, so that's a start.

Closed cell neoprene foam is the stuff you want. I'm considering putting a layer on the outside of my Corbin seat, bloody thing is awful!!! You could go to airtech but they will hose you... Locally you can get it at places like Associated IRP but they are capable of the same... You can always call manufactures and ask for a sample... I've legitimately requested samples in the past, they generally send you a slab 12" square if you request it... Almost enough to cover your seat! lol

Great ideas Walms! I like the way you think. I've heard another suggestion from a few guys as well. Interlocking foam floor tiles. They come in a variety of colours as well as black. They can be laminated together with contact cement and shaped with sandpaper. Pretty cheap too. We'll see how it turns out.

Exercise matts are good as well. Yep, use Golds gym mats, have for years. They are blue, but I cover my seats anyway.
