Cool looking tail section. Do you have a tz engine to throw in the frame as well? No, but I just read about a street legal TZ750 Project from a number of years ago. I'll see if I can dig it out and post it here.

Well, all the oil leaks appear to finally be resolved (thanks Curtis!) and I'm riding again! This thing really fit's me and my 5'9" frame, 31" inseam and relatively short arms. I'm basically sitting right up on the tank, but it feels good. The drag-bars are as close to perfect as I've ever experienced... it just 'feels right' to me. It's a 'sporty ride' with gobs of power everywhere. The 'rowdy' exhaust is on the edge of obnoxious, but it really adds to the outlaw feel. Too fun! Now to get the rest of this make-over done.

Got some work done on the new sub-frame. It's a LOT shorter and narrower than the stock one. I'm going to use a lithium ion battery to save some weight and, more importantly, some valuable space. We're going to try to keep the side panels as small as possible this time. Much of the sub-frame will be exposed. I'm gonna have it powder coated black to help it blend in with the rest of the frame. The frame was still warm from welding when I stuck it on the bike to get a couple of quick shots. I'm really amped up! I think this is gonna be pretty sweet. Should have more progress tomorrow and a few more pics this weekend.
