Well, a few of our KTC members have 'em and love 'em!! Others of you have expressed interest, so I guess they deserve a little section of our Forum for themselves. If you have one, post up some of you favourite pics of your 'Rex and tell us what you've done to 'make it yours'!

Ok, here's mine! Mine is an '02 zrx1200r in red. Red is the second fastest zrx colour, next to 'green' of course. Additions/Deletions: - Michelin radial tires (came with the bike!) - SP Engineering - carbon can - Lockhart rear fender eliminator kit - smaller "stock profile" rear turn signals - carbon fibre bits - replacement wind screen, rear-set heal guards, tank scratch guard - re-located horn - removed reflectors - removed stock mirrors and replaced with a single 'Hindsight' mirror mounted on the left List of things to do: - install aftermarket clutch cover - inverted 'GP' shift pattern (1 up, 4 down) - 'Greg Couch' fork brace - braided steel front brake lines - carb tuning kit Just a small list really. Only some details to 'personalize' it and make some small 'improvements.'

The truth is, there are several KTC members who already own a 'Rex and several more who are salivating at the idea of owning one. They're great, reliable, retro-looking Kawasaki's. Gas 'er up and go!!

What's the deal with these bikes, are they a 6 speed? Great bikes. Smooth, torque-y, steady-handling, sharp looking machines. Nope, 5 speed. There is a 6 speed conversion, but it doesn't raise the final ratio at all, so it really ain't worth it.

yeah, I think they could really use a higher, 6th gear. Revs are a little high on the highway. Only 200 kms/tank. although that sounds like alot for my H1.

Tank is only a little bigger than the H1. At 110 kph I'm at 4000 rpm. my Bud with a Harley 6 speed is at like 2000.
