To bad about the clutch,is it new?I always used ATF in the 500 & never had an issue.Do you think you will have the bugs worked out for Mosport? Sounds like you got the F7 dialed in though.Must have been a hoot.Is the ke 175 a six speed?

The KE trans is a 5 speed, but closer ratios. The F7 drops 2,000 rpm from 4th to fifth...right out of the power band...

If you bought Vesrah disks, double check that they are flat. I recently bought some and they were garbage IMO, not even close to flat... They were a conical shape from the stamping process. The Barnett steels were much better.

I installed H2 Friction plates and glass beaded the steel plates. Wedged in 3 RGV 250 clutch springs. It doesn't slip but is dragging at stops, which I can live with. Swapped out the oil with ATF. I'm going to unhook the cable from the oil pump and pre-mix the fuel. Tomorrow I'm taking it to Mosport for it's 1st race.

We watched you do the break in on the track but you need to pull off those silencers. Far to quiet. So what the report now that the maiden voyage is done?

What is it with you and clutches this year?? It sure did sound great, even it it was a little quiet for some tastes. You don't really need brakes anyway... do you?

I wonder if Barnet's has any thinner steels? I'm hearing the 100's might need a clutch upgrade as well. Maybe an extra pair of disks and heavy springs... Can Ned's hydro pusher be made to fit?

Did you ever solve your clutch slip? I'm currently having the same issues.
