He came after me one day because some guy on a blue suzuki stuffed him in a corner..same colour/ model bike as mine...but not me ..LOL... Well, I'm pretty much ignorant to track etiquette but I'm a quick learner and won't be cocky, that's for sure!

It's all just FYI stuff. Many guys think it's like street riding, just without cops, cars and everyone is going the same direction. Even the sanest get taken in by the red fog. I have seen very fast street guys crash on the track for no reason.

I have seen very fast street guys crash on the track for no reason. Yup, it's not an easy thing to remain 'steady' when the adrenalin kicks in... and it will kick in! The first time you see someone go off the track for "no reason" is a real wake-up call! It was for me anyhow. Never assume anything about the other riders and be careful where you position yourself relative to the other bikes, especially in the turns Thanks for the good advice John. Wish you could be here for this!

Anyone going to be running a go-pro for the event? Could be moments of sublime victory and agonising defeat to capture.

I hope to have my go-pro there. Just charged the battery and I may go buy a spare seeing as it let me down in Tweed.
ALSO a Reminder: I just spoke to Raimo and he mentioned having fuel there. You may want to consider bringing some extra fuel to avoid having to ride out to a fuel station in the middle of the day as your lights etc. will be taped over.

Regarding the noise test I spoke to Dave Howarth 3 weeks ago and he said not to worry about the noise as they have made changes to the track with large berms for noise control.
Also, bring lot's of water as you work up a good sweat wrestling the bike around the track 15 minutes straight each hour. The food concession should be open but you may want bring a cooler of snacks and food. And bring gas/oil as the nearest gas is about 8 km away in Cayuga unless you want to use track race gas which is probably expensive. And these triples have a reputation to guzzle I have been told.
Also might want to bring a rainsuit or at least rainpants. The track will still run with light/moderate rain.
See you Saturday.

Yeah, it would be great to be there Drewski! I will probably be doing a track day this Saturday myself. And you brought up another good point. Guys aren't usually "used" to seeing guys fall, and some target fixate and go right off with them. If some one is close in front of you try and look "through" them the best you can.
