Also, how much of a stink when cooking? The cases should be torqued together if heating... It least that's what I'd do, which means using the oven in the house... That could mean divorce! Haha

Haha Actually, the smell wasn't bad at all. And I wouldn't worry about torquing the cases at such a low and gentle heat.

Good idea. I'll check the can when I get home. I have a toaster oven here at work so my wife, who is a cook by the way, won't get all pissed at me if I was to do it at home. She's French, so when she gets pissed she gets pissed

We all have our own comfort zones... I'd rather deal with my wife than warped cases! Haha

My cases have already been glass beaded before I purchased them and they are still in very good condition

Lord knows I'm not the go-to guy when it comes to bling... But wouldn't you want to paint everything or nothing? Even if you managed to get the paint to match now, what will it look like in 3 years?

I also don't have an oven to use to cure the paint on the cases. I know the oven at home is off limits. Been there done that and it almost cost me a new oven. Once bitten twice shy I guess

make your own oven! What ever size box you want, line with the shiny side of Aluminum foil, a couple of heat lamps and Bob and Doug are your uncles. That's how I set up fiberglass parts.

I know that the heads normally get up to 300 deg F and up to 450f if you let an idiot ride your bike.
