The quest for (more) fire..... New crank and top end installed yesterday. Now setting the intake duration to roadrace specs. The squish was 2.5mm I'll shave the head 0.049" and recheck it.

You mean the cylinder I hope, you can cut the hell out of the head, and not change the squish clearance.

Unless he puts a step into it (which would center the head in the bore too) J

It was touch and go to fit the Suzuki T20 brake drum between the Honda MT250 forks. It was 3/4" too wide. I cut 1/4" from one side and 1/2" from the other. It's a close fit, but should work....

This would explain why you haven't been hounding me for your pipe... ;D Excellent news as I'm up to my ears! That turn down won't help to spray splooge on your competition though!

Yeah, not as nice as your stuff, but functional...took me a few days to make... With no baffle, the noise will be directed at the road...not at the sound meters...

Raised compression ratio to 10.8:1 Squish set at 0.050" Rotary valve modified Cold compression is 185. Klotz 113 Octane fuel is needed I think.
Houston..we have spark!
Waiting for my carb adapter and some oil seals....
The Honda MT 250 triples were too narrow to fit the Suzuki brake drum. I'm waiting for a Yamaha 750 set to cure this problem..
