I'll have exact prices after I machine up the first ones. I am going to do my best to keep them under 300 Canadian a set.

Same forks in KH as earlier? The drum is different, don't ask me how I found that out, but my KH is now a five up tranny instead of 1d4u

Lou, Shift fork width on the drum area WAS changed in '74. The dimention was altered from 21mm wide to 24.5. (at least on the 3rd gear fork) Here ya go: (SB 74 H 26 bottom RH corner of chart) kawtriple.com/mraxl/bulletins.htm#Bulletin: 74 H-26 My alzheimers stopped momentarily!!! J

Just a thought, the Part numbers for the H2 are different than H1 as well it looks like the H2 uses 2 of the same forks, and one other. H1 uses 3 different forks, or at least part numbers are different. Are they are all the same parts, renumbered between H1 and H2?

The H1 and H2 forks are the same, with different numbers. Mine are cast with the wider upgrade(with an oil notch) that LC mentioned. the 3 forks on your drum are different. I am casting a 1,2,3 in each part so no screw ups can happen... Man oh man these things have consumed a big chunk of my life ;D

good show Lou, I figured you'd do the homework first. As for your life, this is it now.

The soft pre machined steel will look identical to these. Rough machining will be done to 5 sets...sent for vacuum heat treat, returned, inspected for warping...final boring, honed then ground to size. If everything looks awesome...I press the go button. Also, for the curious ones that noticed the extra pad for contact (a three leg chair can't wobble)...this is so I can machine these to perfection and in a relaxed state. Even in extreme heat these forks will resist warping, unlike their predecessors.

Nice looking pieces Lou!!! You really have been infected by these old rattle traps!! Perhaps its time to seek the professional help of a head shrinker!!!
