Lou Some years ago while working at a local Cement factory I had to close up one night by pulling huge doors closed (similar to the Friendly Giants castle doors) . Well the 5 inch thick ..1/2 wide 10 ft long steel bar wasn't latch properly and it came down on my thumb MAN did I scream . Thought I lost my thumb . OOO the PAIN ..It took a awful long time for my thumb to heal and like you I would smack it every once in a while . So I feel for you . Solution ..like you I put a Protection over it . Much better. Shifter Forks are looking good ;D Ian

my bro Jim one time at the farm we worked, jumped up to grab the T handle on a Garage door that was partially stuck. When the door came down his finger got wedged between the T and the Aluminum flashing around the door frame. His finger was severed and danggeled by the small piece of skin left together. I near puked. They stuck it back on for him but it no longer works

Major setback with the shift forks today... Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone... I am to upset to go into detail about it now. I hope to have something for you by fall.

Anyone why builds things has been where you are. I know I have had my share of "set-backs". Otherwise know as kicking and screaming and kicking some more. Murphy is alive and well. You will beat him buddy!
