So the plan for tonight is to mock up my new oil tank and start working on the electronics board.
The battery on my bike, what is the minimum wattage (or amperage?) i need? i am wanting to go alot smaller since i am going custom, and i dont think a battery eliminator will work here..

She will be an all winter project Ian,

Oil tank is mocked up, she will hold roughly 2.15 liters of oil... Did a little copy cat of the "B" oil tank, were it has the 2 spigots coming from the top and bottom of the side of the tank with the clear line in between to see the oil level, pictures tomorrow night. Whats the minimum battery size I need to run this bike?

Just how fat is that rear tire, is the chain going to interfere with it?

130 and no, it clears perfectly.
Going to dig through my mess of hydraulic parts and see what I can scare up for a vented cap to use on this tank.
Still wondering about the battery, anyone have some suggestions?

What's up with the battery? I assume you are not using the stock location? Some RD guys use sealed 12v alarm system batteries and hide them in the tail. I've seen them mounted on their sides with no problems.

Power to weight is the key. And since you don't drink, you should be able to beat those guys with emgos, wirges, resistor plugs and caps, dual discs, and 6 month old weed wacker fuel ;D

I'll just pinch off their oil line to the pump before the big race...

I'll just pinch off their oil line to the pump before the big race... I'd rather you stuff a stick in my spokes!
