Something else to think about Mitch. Not sure if you're planning on using the silencers that I can give you on this bike but they are 2" in diameter. Theyre not that light at around 2 lbs each. Have you thought about a big single can like walms has or is it going to be straight stingers? If its strictly a track bike I dont think it makes sense to muffle those chambers.

Looking good,Couple of things though. For VRRA you will need an oil catch pan or a diaper. Think you will be to close to the ground for a pan.Is there enough room between the motor & pipes for a diaper? Also open stingers are sweet but you will get kicked out of two of out tracks with them with no refund.I think the max of all tracks is 96db.Mospot & shanny you can get away with it because the are in the boonies. Thanks guys.. and yes those are your old pipes and motor Curtis.. the one pipe didn't fit so it was really welded and stingers put on.
Brad, givr is giving me a set of silencers I'm going to make removable for the tracks that they arnt neccasary . I have yet to mount the bottle to catch my over flows and I plan to wrap a some sort of a pan under it I think I can make room. Do explain on how a diaper works. Can't say I've seen it on a bike,
Also a little insight on what all I need to wire tire would be helpful. I've been reading the vrra rules but can't say there all to descriptive.

And right now the motor is stock.. this weekend it will come out and get looked over I have not fired it yet. Porting will come eventually.
Correct me if I'm wrong Brad, the oil pan only needs to be able to hold the volume of the crank case, 1.2l ?

Basicly you need to safety wire any thing that holds on wheels & brakes.(caliper & rotor bolts, axle nuts, fork wheel clamp nuts, shock nuts, fork triple nuts)Anything that holds the exhaust on(cyl nuts, safty wire the exhaust spring & rear mounting bolts & stingers if bolted on)Anything that oil or fluid runs through (lower fork drains, oil drain & filler plug, oil lines & or line bolts at the tank & cyl, master cyl & caliper lines)Anything you don't want to fall off! The oil catch pan must hold about 2 quarts & be totally under the tranny(four strokes the whole motor) I have managed to squeese a small pan with a deeper sump between the motor & pipes but it is tuff. This should be done before the pipes are made. The better option is fire proof, absorbent material wrapped in a mesh screen under the tranny between the motor & pipes.Rue for two strokes only Brad

It's the 50th anniversary for the 1967 mosport Gp race so there will be many old stars & bikes that might have raced that day. They are coming from England, europe & all over.A show not to be missed. My 67 Yamaha TD1c will try its best to make an appearance.
