Well..after a LOOONG break I'm finally able to start working on the H2 again!
With that said I've updated my parts wish list in the initial post so if anyone has some spare parts kicking around I'll be happy to take them off your hands. ...it is the season of giving after all

Finally found a new home for my H2 where I can begin to work again.. 1st order of business is to plug in the new Harness so I can check for spark. If all that checks out it's time to pull the motor for a rebuild and continue working my way through everything else. I'm not sure if Ebay is a Friend or Foe at this point but either way every week feels like Christmas as I get to open all my new packages

So it begins... Had to "ride" my bike down from it's 2nd story storage on an old rickety skit using a forklift...talk about nerve racking. Not for my own safety but for the bike's
BUT she made it down safely and will be moving to it's final destination where it will undergo the final stages of restoration.

The fourth line goes to the carbs on the later models. Should work ok for your 72, just plug the extra hole with a short bolt and seal. Or trade it for an early one.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I've found so many backwards things on this bike i wasn't sure if it was just the pump or an entire late model engine.

It may work OK, but it's not a great idea to plug the outlet of a positive displacement pump that meters each outlet separately.

You can use h1 pumps too. I've done it and flogged the crap out my old h2 engine. I just advanced the cable setting a bit. With todays good oils it will work fine plus you dont need to pay extra or limit your searches.
