Having a hard time finding gel coat....there's a place in Hamilton but they close at 5. Its still just raw glass, not pretty yet. Ill put some pictures up tomorrow, that way I can use the sun...and you might be able to make out the picture...lol

That's what I did to my fender...I've never used gel coat before, I'm curious how its like to work with. I like learning as I go. But it may end up with just bondo and some high build primer

that's how the fender turned out so far...rattle can black. Ill get my brother to paint it eventually but not high on my list of things to do

I gave up the two piece design because the flange make it to close to the frame... So I'm gonna have to figure out how to bond some rubber to the inlet so it can be clamped. It is starting to look like I know what I'm doing...lol

Gel coat is very expensive, thin and brittle. It is made to go inside a mold so the glass doesn't show through to the outside. Putting it on already formed glass will just look like thick paint.
