Good call! I had an issue with my H1B - whenever I wheelied, the bike would die. It turned out the battery was grounding out.

Could you not have added the rubber condom to go over the wires ?
??

Assuming you still have one in your wallet, that is!

Could you not have added the rubber condom to go over the wires ? ?? Thought of that but with the wires attached they would be rubbing up against the metal and I was worried that over time it might rub through.

New addition to the idiot lights. The LED can be programed to monitor the bikes charging system. Six different options. Mine stays green when the volts are above 13.2, flashes green from 13.2 to 12.5 then changes to a blinking yellow light from 12.5 to 12.1 below which it flashes red. I like it better than the rubber plug that was there It took trips to just about every source I could think of in Ottawa to find the plastic insert to mount the light into. Snaps right in.

This is what happens when you have done pretty much everything you can do while you wait for your crank. I get bored easy. The mini fairing was left over from a supermoto project. Not sure about it yet. I think I will finish mounting up and decide later. Good News .... my crank is assembled and just needs to be trued. Gary

thanks ,,, fist time in half a dozen builds that I am having the motor done by someone else. It needed a crank rebuild and trans work done which was beyond my abilities. Not used to waiting for someone else to do my work. Small local shop with a fantastic reputation so I am sure the wait will be worth it but I did want to ride this one this summer.
See the Higgspeed box in the corner,,been dying to hear those pipes

Engine is almost done but I am missing a couple of parts.
Does anyone have extras of the white plastic tachometer gear, mine is missing some teeth. part number is 13224-005
I am also missing one thrust washer part number 92026-026
as well as the two dowel pins part number 92042-035
Getting close but she is starting to fight me every last step.
I'll post this in parts wanted as well.. I know this stuff is on ebay but I would rather not go that route.
I have sent Diablo and Vintage Kawasaki a note so I will have to sit back and hope.

Pretty sure she is not done kicking I disagree but is now off to get the carbs mounted tuned and timed. Everything about this one has been difficult. Some bikes just seem to want to get back on the road and others fight you every step of the way. Wish me luck boys it's getting close. Gary
