The PO in his infinite wisdom saw fit to use airplane glue to attach the filter to the oil tank. Zambia has got a spare for me. Thanks Ian.

Well this isn't right, it looks likes someone used a rear axle from a Z1 maybe this was why this nut was put on there, it doesn't screw onto anything and is not on the part list. I will find a proper spacer for this. I have seen NOS rear axles on ebay for $90 but there is nothing wrong with this one except for the length

oil tank, thanks to Zambia, thanks Ian always a big day when it has wheels I am waiting on mini coils before taking on the wiring. The front fender needs body work so I think that is next, well if it warms up enough outside to paint

I like the sheen on the frame! What's up with the tires? Make?

The frame was painted with POR-15 which is a brush on paint. It looked good in that it levels out real nice but I was a very high gloss which I didn't like at all. I over sprayed everything with Duplicolor satin black caliper paint and much happier with the look.
Tire are just Dunlops.
I have the electric heater going in the shed to get the temp up so I can paint the front fender. Still not warm enough to paint outside.
Going up to 17 on Tuesday and most of next week is looking good.
Just put new carbs on the Norton so I want to get out and test them

Compressed air is a good way to get the piston out of the caliper.Give it a try next time.
