Dollah per CC man, dollah per..... Ahh ya. Seven fifty for your basket case h2?? That'll be the day!! My "running" F9's gotta be worth a little something extra!! Just joking Drew, bighorns are very collectible actually, as you must have known when you bought it to resell. AND, what H2 for 750 would you be referring to?

Ah, no worries Steve... just yanking your chain about the h2 basket case you're brokering for RB. $1500us?? Ya, as far as the Bighorn being collectable, I actually wanted to keep it for my own. I sold the G3SSE with the idea that a bigger single might be cool. When Andy announced he was unloading this one, I acted before I could even reason out a logical plan. Next thing I knew, I owned it. I hafta say, it wasn't looking good. The Bighorn looked like it had been sitting at the bottom of a pond for 5 or 6 years. Last week, much to my surprise, it came to life!! Soooooooo, do I keep it or move it?? I'm torn between keeping it and moving it to another appreciative owner and using the $$ to maintain the "fleet" I already have. Our survey says.... ??

Those motors have power galore man. As for the H2, its well worth the money. Body set would be well over 500 at evil bay and the motor turns with good compression and would likely bring a grand there as well. It has all the electrics and lots of other parts. Well worth the asking price Drew.

Well, I'll keep it for a bit anyway. I think we'll get it cleaned up a bit more and put it on the road. Maybe with a new pipe!? Ultimately though, it's going to have to go!

Would it be a bad thing to turn one into a cafe racer? A front end from a S3? Try to do it bolt-on so no value is wasted. If you sell that with all the parts, I reckon you play then restore.

I had worked on one with an original Hooker Headers expansion chamber, very rare pipe, was a very fast bike

That was exactly my 'original' plan Andrew. It would make a wicked little cafe machine! However, I think it would also make a great 'tracker' style machine as well. Let the games begin!! I had worked on one with an original Hooker Headers expansion chamber, very rare pipe, was a very fast bike I think it would be pretty quick with a WTF as well.

Whatever I do, I'll make sure the original parts are saved and can be put back to return it to original.

Ned is a halfwit, don't listen to him. As opposed to the rest of us fullwits?

Just noticed this thread. You never told me about this but glad to see you still have it.
All the mods are available to make a nice Big Horn Replica Road Racer. (street legal of coarse) Even for the frame.
Rick can fix you up with the rotary valve mods if required.
You have about 2 years to complete it so we can take both replica's out for a scoot. Just my 2 cents
