This sound like a good one. Looks like the VRRA is racing at the track on the 19th and 20th of July and the CVMG is doing their bike rally in Grand Bend at the same time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was on the VRRA site: Grand Bend's Vintage Bike Days Postby alleycat ยป Sat May 03, 2014 9:54 am This years First Annual "Show & Shine" event will be held in Grand Bend and takes place on Sunday July 20, 2014, from 10.00am. until around 1pm, right on Grand Bend's Main Street. (exact location will be announced soon.) Again this year, there is no registration fee, no official judging, no vendors and it's NOT a swap-meet but there will be a group ride from Main Street to the Grand Bend MOTORPLEX Raceway to enjoy the Vintage Road Racing Associations, "SUMMER CLASSIC" Event. Vintage related club and group displays are encouraged.Just show up and proudly show off your scooters and motorcycles. All makes and models of Vintage & Classic bikes are most welcome. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I had a great camping trip there in 2004.  |

They are opening early, just for us and are providing up to 75 free parking spaces for vintage bikes. Arrive there early to get your parking spot. Located on the very end of Main St. just before you are on the World's Famous Grand Bend Beach.
Everyone participating in the "Group Ride" from The Growling Gator Restaurant will have FREE admission to the vintage road races held at Grand Bend's Motorplex on Sunday afternoon. Walk the paddocks, meet the riders and checkout their amazing vintage race machines!  The racing should be good and Rick will have the side car at the track. The show and shine should be good. Sound like a great event If anyone has a recommendation for a room to rent down there for Saturday night let me know. |
