Cool. Well I've got a kz650 engine/carbs/wheel hubs that need it, and a S3 engine/carbs.
Might be next winter before I get to these, but its nice to know there are options. Had another guy in ON do the H1 a few years ago. It came out really nice. I always clean them as best I can before sending, it just makes sense since it saves me money.

Dropped by Andy's place with my '69 H1 engine..saw some samples of stuff he's vapour blasted - it's amazing!! Saw a 50 year old Coyote carb that looked better than NOS. And even more impressive - he came in today and did my parts. The price was awesome (I won't post it in case I get a better deal because he likes me more than you guys). I have pictures but will post some before and after once I pick the stuff up tomorrow.

Looking good! Is it just the picture or does that one stud look like it has yielded a bit??? Also, that bent fin, do you leave it or attempt to straighten it?

I heated the bent fin pretty dang hot with a plumber's torch, but I was too afraid it would break when I tried to bend it back...the fins work in terms of heat dissipation - it cooled very quickly. Lost my nerve, but I'm open to suggestions!
