Oh and btw, while I know that eye-balling potential modifications is not always (never?) an accurate way to access the situation, it looks "good" to be able to fit the rear cbr125 wheel into the stock G3 swing arm. There looks to be plenty of room for the wider wheel and tire to clear the swing arm and the cbr axle bolt diameter is pretty close to a dead match for the stocker! The only obvious issues to solve are the difference between the chain and sprockets and possible chain clearance issues passing the tire. They shouldn't be too much to overcome though. As well, the cbr125 triple clamps look like they won't drastically change the geometry of the front end. The last thing I want is to make the steering even quicker than it already is!! Had a quick look at the guts of the cbr speedo and it looks darn close to being able to fit inside the stock G3 speedo housing. THAT would be too cool!! Nice! Being able to put many of the CBR bits to use without too much modification would be great! But don't forget our joint project! It would be cool to have both of them for next spring!!

It's got a strut there eh, I could even ride it.... Put a mill in there that would suit the look though. H2 comes to mind...

I think you'll regret making a 300lb. Bike for a 125cc motor... Just sayin

I think you'll regret making a 300lb. Bike for a 125cc motor... Just sayin If it was 300lbs, I'd agree, but I doubt that's a 300 lb. bike! They've gone to an extreme with the inverted front end, but my guess is that it's from a 250 Aprilia or "some such light-weight beast". Have a good look. It's pretty skimpy in every other way.

Still working at getting the G3 "dialed in" as stock in order to get it safetied. It was running rough at any throttle beyond idle, and there were a couple of minor wiring adjustments needed on the turn signals. The battery is pooched so we're looking for a temporary (read, cheap) solution to that too. I hope to have it in my name this week. Then the fun begins! No Seaglider, I haven't forgotten the h1/750... ... we need to get that one back on track too!

Got the G3 safetied yesterday. All set to get it transferred into my name. THEN the re-birth begins!! Slow at first. I think I might take it down to Ohio. (in the back of the truck, of course!)

Looks like my DoTheTon buddies will be showing a strong presence at Mid-Ohio. If I'm taking the G3, I'd better toss some clubmans on it and remove the turn signals so it can qualify as a "cafe" racer!
